PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY

1.         Admission:

(a)    There are 30 seats for M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry programme.

(b)   The admissions will be done on the basis of merit/ entrance test as per the University rule for admission to P.G. courses.

(c)    There will be no weightage of any P.G. Degree/ Diploma courses.

(d)   The existing reservation rules of University of Lucknow shall apply in admitting the students to this course.

(e)    Admission on migration of a candidate from any other University to this University shall not be permitted.

2.       Eligibility:

For admission to M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry programme, a candidate should have passed B.Sc. (Chemistry) examination with 10+2+3 system with a minimum of 50% marks for general and OBC candidates and 45% for SC/ST candidates.

3.   Duration of Course:

(a)    The Master of Science Pharmaceutical Chemistry programme is a two years (Four Semesters) full time programme.

(b)   The degree of M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry of the University of Lucknow, Lucknow will be conferred to candidate who pursues the prescribed course of study for four semesters and passes the examinations as prescribed under the relevant ordinances.
