



About the Society
The Indian Liquid Crystal Society (ILCS) was founded in the year 1992 under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960, with the following objectives:
To encourage the scientific and educational advancement of liquid crystals.
To provide a forum for individuals and organizations to exchange information and ideas relating to liquid crystals.
To serve the needs of the liquid crystal community, including both individual scientists and the industry.
Currently, it has 345 Life Members apart from Ordinary Members, Student Members and Institutional Members. The Society has the following office bearers at present.
