Counseling Instructions

The Undergraduate counseling process will begin from June 23, 2009 at the Students Union Bhawan near the Registrar’s office. The counseling will be held according the attached schedule. Candidates have to follow the following important steps for the counseling.

1. Candidates have to report for counseling at the stipulated time with the following documents as applicable without which they would be denied admission.

   1. Original mark sheets/certificates from High school onwards

   2. Original category certificate issued during the last six months

   3. Proof of UE/CT/FF special category in original

   4. Original character certificate from institute last attended

   5. Original migration certificate.

   6. Affidavit/certificate in support of gap if any

   7. Proof of income for candidates seeking scholarship/fees waiver

   8. Receipt of the submitted application form

   9. 10 Colour Photographs

   10. Photocopy of all the documents

2. Candidates should ensure their presence positively when their name/rank/serial number is called for counseling failing which their claim for admission shall stand forfeited.

3. The University of Lucknow will not be responsible for retain seats for candidates turning up late for the counseling.

4. Candidates will have to deposit the full fees at the time of admission. Under no circumstances will the candidate be given time to deposit fees at a later date.

5. If the candidate is unable to deposit the fees on the day of admission, the seat will not be retained. His/her admission will be cancelled and the seat will be allotted to the next candidate in order of merit.

6. Candidates seeking benefit of reservation or weightage have to produce the required certificates at the time of admission. In case they fail to do so the benefit may be denied.

7. Candidates requiring zero fees facility will have to come with their bank account details (account number and MICR code). The account has to be in the name of the candidate in any nationalized bank.

8. Candidate submitting false information at the time of submitting the form will be denied admission.

9. Candidates are advised to check the University website www.lkouniv.ac.in for detailed procedure, counseling schedule, fee structure and latest announcements before coming for the counseling process.

10. A basic fee has to be paid by demand draft in favour of Finance Officer, University of Lucknow payable at Lucknow. Extra amount for practical, Self Financed subjects and paid subjects can be deposited in cash.
